Hey that is an old techtronics scope. One of those modular ones. Cool. The pedal makes for chaotic visual and sonic presentation!

its a whiteish powder kinda like whats on the inside of a flouresent tube and wen the light beam shines on it, it lights up just like viewing a movie projector on a screen. so what can happen is if the light beam is to intense you can actually burn the powder (phosphorus)just like frying a leaf with a magnifying glass.

Whats phosphrous?

Your gonna burn your phosphorus man!

sounds (and looks) like an angry bunch of hornets. Nice job!

I think I have the same scope as you-Tektronix 7603-but I only have one dual trace preamp.
please let me know how I can connect my 'found' o-scope to audio...I know about coax cables...is there an adapter, coax to phono type thing that you use??

The probe from my scope has two leads... one is a ground clip (alligator clip) and the other is a little finger clip. I plugged a 1/4" cable to the headphone out of my synth. I plugged the other end of the cable into a loose 1/4" jack. Then I clipped the leads from the probe to the jack... tis that simple.
