A pity those 'running' the socialist alliance (the 'Percy-ites') have also sold out so many activists and groups over the years. Be wary of the Trotskist-Leninist 'revolutionaries'... they operate under the name of 'democratic centralism' - ie power controlled at the centre with a 'facade' of democracy. Sounds like the system we have now...?

The military 'intervention' in the NT seems to be a cover for removing Aboriginal land rights to clear the way for uranium mining and radioactive dumps. The govt and companies behind this show how little they care for the planet and it's inhabitants - now and in the future. Garrett seems to have at best put his ideals 'on hold' (dangerous game) and at worst flushed them down the sewer! Time will tell...

its leading because greedy companys mine the shit and other greedy companys turn it into electricity . howard is a big chance of takeing other countries waste as well as our own. a company bought land from aboriginal people for a mere 12million and how much prophit will they make dumping waste there.

That's because "No Coal" makes sense. Coal is the cause of global warming. Unlike the brainless "No Nuclear" that so-called environmentalists come out with. Nuclear is the leading solution to Climate Change.

Peter Garrett was certainly heckled during his speech at the Walk Against Warming yesterday. "No Coal" was the message coming from right throughout the crowd it seemed.
