Great version. A funky twist on the original. The whole point is to reinterpret and it was done beautifully.

I note some of the "house band" (ie Dave Edmunds & Terry Williams (drums)) seem to have disappeared from the stage for this performance. No doubt they forsaw their careers about to go down the pan.

I love her, Miss Kylie Minogue!!!

@andnowurwatchingthis I never understood why Kylie was and is marketed to the gay audience. It wasn't like she couldn't have sex appeal to straight guys if she was marketed right. She's still attractive today and is an international pop star, so why the need to attract the gay demographic only?

Ouch.

Many of today's artists are subjected to AUTO-TUNIN i.e Britney. Kylie may never reach the vocal range of Celine Dion or Mariah Carey but name a HIT SINGLE of theirs that still does the rounds almost a DECADE later?! I admit that Help!isnt suited to her sound or GENRE of POP but addin a funky-dance element to the classic could be seen as CELEBRATORY

This is brilliant, I remember taping this off the telly 20 years ago. At that time, the musical arrangement took time (& repeated plays) to stick. But stick it did, & nowadays I prefer this version as opposed to the "cheese" style of the Bananarama version.

O_O THE FUCK?!
-
she was booed first time she went on and had to make a second entrance - hence the face

This version doesn't go with the theme of the song. it was never meant to be a dance tune, it's not stupid locomotion or buff semi-naked men oiled up. She destroyed this song.

is this a tribute to John Lennon or the making of a fitness video?
