arenas are great for money, but the level ups are usually pathetic. i only use them to get bad units (like Seth from FE8 or Isadora from FE7) to level 20 for emergency levels. they come in handy for the "Magic Seal Kishuna" levels in FE7

@bnugentkarate seth is considered one of the best paladins in FE 8, he comes with great stats and decent growths

You know, I used to dislike Erika, until on one of my play-through's, I managed to almost cap her strength stat (18) at tier 1 by lvl 20. Speed was 20, and skill was 20. I was shocked on how I was so blessed by the RNG!

@bnugentkarate Tell that to my Gerik, who went a normal run, and his last ten levels gave me +2 hp. Yes, that was all he got. Nothing else. I was like: "WTF IS THIS GERIK?!?"

Arena levels are boring, but if you believe growths drop there, you're wrong. It might seem that way sometimes, but if you record all your levels and go through them you'll find similarities.

@Blazingswordsman I too had a period where I only Arena Abused, I don't count my Tower as Abuse since I don't save-state it and lost characters are lost (Joshua likes to die here, and same goes with Tana), and when I suddenly decided to go a normal run, it turned out harder than expected. It was fun as well.

@omologo95 I understand what you mean, but I can't play the games like that anymore after doing it once for each one. Not saying it isn't fun though. I just like having really ridiculous units to mess around nowadays. But since you mention it, I might go back one day and do it legit

I hate the arena. People abuse them too much... What happened to them good ol' playthough legit? With Abuse, everything turns out too easy.
