The only reason this is so sad is because he's a vocaloid. We can't know him, we can't feel him anywhere but our hearts, and we can only decode him from his song. If he were a real person he would be attacked by a million loving fangirls saying "I love you Kaito, don't be depressed! Have some ice cream?"

@GraceTheUnstoppable I don't think so. I think it had more to do with how many people can compare themselves to what Kaito is singing about. I have personally gone through this and am actually still doing so which is why this song touched me so much, but it say Gackt, Shinedown, or Poets of the Fall would have sung this I would have felt the same thing if anything MORE from the English speaking people because then I don't have to read the lyrics to find out what he is saying

Sometimes I wonder , what if all the vocaloids were actually real people based on their real personalities and voices , etc [not talking about the current voice banks]. But it was just kept a secret from the public then revealed one day.
