Mark Haines, the crusty co-host of CNBC's Squawk on the Street, debates a snobby Harvard professor who claims Obamacare would ration healthcare.
The confrontational exchange saw Haines seemingly defending Obamacare by drawing a parallel between current private insurance companies and what proposed reform might offer.
Haines was debating snooty Harvard University economist Martin Feldstein, who advocates higher co-payments and deductibles and says he would choose a more expensive treatment regardless of its effectiveness.

So sad that Mr. Haines has passed away. I loved his segments on Morning Joe when he subbed doing business news for Erin Burnett.

@Eleetnessful
Pity your comment was removed. Your eloquence, especially with four letter words, certainly had me convinced that you are a true scholar and missed your calling. Then again, maybe you're right where you belong.

Mark Haines reminds me of the other script readers paid to push a point persuasively to a too trusting public.
