LEGO Water Pump

This is a movie clip of an interactive LEGO fountain. It is created with a LEGO water pump, build during the Techno Class of the faculty Industrial Design of the Eindhoven University of Technology. It is fully LEGO compatible and can be controlled by the NXT. A whole new dimension has been added to the LEGO system. As mentioned, the pump is a ready made part from Kavan with an NXT connection plug soldered on to it. The casing is custom made using a rapid prototyping machine and is therefore not available as a seperate part.

The pump is a part from Kavan, build into a custom casing to make it fit into the existing LEGO system. This includes connection points for other LEGO bricks and a connection to control it with the NXT.
