MEET PHILLIP GENIZA
Phillip Geniza was born and raised in San Diego, CA. Since a very young age, he enjoyed performing for talent shows and basically anyone that wanted to watch. He began his dance career with FORMALity in the Fall of 2003. During his 6 year tenure with FORMALity Phillip was blessed with the opportunity to direct their Junior team, Flipside. Under his direction Flipside won honors such as, National Gold Medalists in the Varsity division at Hip Hop International in 2007, 1st place prizes at Prelude 2005, WOD 2008, back to back champions 2006 & 2007 at the San Diego County Fair, and much more. He was also the director of EKetc's co-ed team, Mass Appeal from 2007-2009. Phillip has taught nationally and internationally in places like, San Fransisco, Las Vegas, Norway, Canada and much more. More recently he was fortunate enough to perform a collabo set with Jun Quemado at his very first Choreographer's Ball at Carnival in LA. He currently directs two junior teams PG-13 and Riot7403 and teaches weekly classes at Studio 429, StudioFX, and Mystic Stepper.
