@10032uhhh I drive my Gto m6 mostly around the city and I get around 16.5 mpg at the very best. If I'm on the highway however, I average about 21 mpg (and thats going an avg of 85 mph) good luck with your purchase!

@10032uhhh If you get a 6 speed, it's not too bad. Just keep it in the high gears and don't use the motor too much. With an automatic, it's not going to be good. The window sticker says 16 city with an automatic.

if driven carefully and responsively, how is the fuel economy in city and hwy???

@rogeliogallegos76 I just got done driving to Kentucky and back. I averaged both ways 25.1 MPG, and that was going an indicated 80 MPH for most of the time (really more like 77). CIty, well if you can keep it below 1500 RPM, pretty comparable to highway.

Nice car man. my buddy's dad got a black 06 two days ago. I know a ton about the cars. And i'm hooked on it man. I just learned how to drive stick on my mom's cobalt. So i'm just wondering if i do get an 05 or 06 with the LS2 will it be more difficult to drive? I know the clutch will be heavier but im wondering what will feel different and if there anything different i should do to revmatch and downshift smoother. im just worried that i won't be able to be smooth with such a powerful car. Thanks

@mrmustangkillr To make downshifting easier I double clutch. You don't have to but I don't like to make my synchros work in the other direction if they don't have to. If you get an 05 or 06 you wil love it.
