Utilizing three different XI's in order to evaluate talent, the Chicago Fire played to a 0-0 draw with DC United to open up the team's 2012 preseason campaign on Sunday, January 29 in Ft. Myers, Fla.

The team takes on Florida Gulf Coast University on Wednesday, February 1, 7pm ET in Ave Maria, Fla.

The Impact plays its home opener on March 17, at 2pm, against the Chicago Fire. On top of the significance of this historic first home game for the Montreal Impact, this game parallels a historic moment in Montreal soccer. It will be 30 years that the Montreal Manic established an attendance record for a soccer game at Olympic Stadium. The Manic beat the Chicago Sting by the score of 3-2 in front of 58,542 supporters, a record the Impact would like to beat.
