Very cool! I would love to go to Dubai but I heard that they are not very friendly towards Jews(me). I have Israel stamps on my passport as well.... Great report though. Do you have any footage of the hotel that you stayed in? Looked nice

I have seen the erection of this building (horrible), I have seen the Burj Khalifa in Feb.; with the evening event: without the music it is not the same, but it is a real great impression; congratulations to the great views from obsevation deck!

@amandeuce That is great to hear. I want to try the middle eastern food if I were go to Dubai. I have heard some great things about BA, so I think your trip should be nice. I look forward to your report. Will you go for vacation or work? I have a few trips coming up. I will be on LX business class very soon, so I will definitely post that video!

Wow, the water is so blue. That elevator is incredible how fast it is! Dubai kind of reminds me of Las Vegas. Man-made luxury in the middle of the desert! The water fountains certainly remind me of the Bellagio in Vegas. How was the food in Dubai? Did you eat some great middle eastern food?

@sfflyer123 yes, very artificial. I like that, and indeed, it's like Vegas. The whole city is like an adventure park :D
You can get food from every part of the world there and no, I didn't really try middle eastern food, only dates and coffee etc. Where is your next trip going to? I recently booked ZRH-LHR-LAX on BA and American Airlines. I'm not sure if this was a wise decision :D cheers amandeuce
