How to benefit from MBT's... Zappos How To? How to... Learn to stand and walk in your brand new MBT shoes. starring: Nick and Rich So...you've been thinking about getting some MBT shoes, huh? Looks like today is your lucky day. Yay!! confused? wish you had your very own personal trainer to show you what to do? All right. My name is Rich Rowe, I'm a certified personal trainer and I work with MBT. I'm here to help you through your first MBT experience. Those are a little bit strange. Now that you've got them strapped on, the first thing I want you to do is start walking. That's the most natural thing to do in MBTs. So stand up, look forward, and start moving. And it's a heel-toe rolling action. I know they're a little bit funny looking. You might start looking down. Look back up ahead and start walking. Regular walking, heel to toe with great posture. After you've spent a little time walking around, now we can come to a spot and just stand. And actually, standing is a little bit challenging in MBTs. So what I want you to do, let's rock back on the heels, onto the toes. We'll do that a few more times, each time making the rocking a little bit smaller, until you find that middle balancing area. And it will feel a little unstable. Your heel is going to be a elevated, your toes going to be a elevated, but right in that balancing area, that's where you want to be. And this where you're going to get the best posture and the most muscle activation. So we got Nick all started in his MBTs. He knows how to stand. He knows how to walk.
