  • do you leave the tiller just to its self when you go for the drop or do you some how hold it?

  • The tiller extension goes on the windward rack, then I kneel over it with my bum on the extension, so I can steer by moving my bum and I have two hands for a quick drop. It sounds a bit precarious, but it is very positive. You kneel with the windward leg bent and the leeward leg straight.

Hope you get a chance to give it a go :¬)

  • It is also important to let the main fully out - steer dead down-wind - and pull the kite sheet in hard before dropping the kite (so it pulls the main in behind the kite and prevents it getting blown forward into the water).
