Horses need you. Will you help them?

Raising awareness against horse slaughter. Ignoring it will not make it stop.Some photos may cause heartbreak and (hopefully) anger and determination.
Horse slaughter continues unchallenged in Canada though the majority of it's citizens are against it.
PMU farms are big business in Canada producing Premarin, a hormone replacement drug.This is a very cruel industry from many different angles. Wyeth Ayerst is the manufacturer of this drug. Don't believe any lies or propaganda you may hear or read from those involved. They do not care about the horses.
I hope to share what I learn because knowledge is power.The slaughter industry counts on public ignorance.

Ignorance may be bliss but knowledge is power. By not supporting companies like Wyeth Ayerst we can use our power to promote change.

Thanks for your comment. The horse slaughter industry is rife with lies. People want to believe that the horses don't suffer but nothing could be further from the truth. Those who care enough must try to do what they can to help and raise awareness. The change may be frustratingly slow but it will come if we keep fighting. Horses should not be treated this way. There are many sancturaries doing what they can to promote change. They must be suppported in any way we can.

what maes it ok to kill a horse but not a human are we not the same in so many ways. if they have to be slaughtered wich they dont give them the quality of life while they have it

we have a P.M.U farm and we love our horses. th harness that goes on them in the barn is no differant that girls wearing bras. when we let our horses out to pasture they are waiting later to be put back in the barn
