  • you should buy the wood stove they offer (has a pipe). I'm torn between a canvas wall tent and this one. The tipi would be much lighter--and far cooler to look at.

  • @JohnTheHater

Hi John - If you look you will see we got a stove from russia :-) that works perfectly. But also I have learned more about how tough this tent really is - It is really rugged, it will take a huge fire inside - it will make sure you can stay warm and dry - if you REALLY need it...its awesome for trips into the wild... ... yes it sure is very expensive .. but it will take a beating and hopefully last for years and years :-)

  • fire is too big for that tent.

  • @dinnerandashow ....

Well ...actually i have learned since.... the fire was actually maby to small ...you need a fire that generates enough heat to get things burning hot - and get the circulation going ...then there is no problems ...I have had a LOT bigger fire since i made these vids ...maby i should do a ...after owning for a year review ;-)

  • Actually - it is possible to have a fire inside - but its import to use the right kind of wood...birch or other hard wood...

  • Thanks :-)

  • only use really dry wood without a stove and id ssay about half the size fire though but Id use a bigger tipi if i planned to have open fire but keep a small store of wood tarped to keep dry so you dont have poppers

  • Just what i have heard but i was lead to believe you leave the door shut, especially if a vent is open. That way the smoke is drawn out the top.

I used to take my boys out in a bison lavvu when they were young like that. the angst i felt if i went out and left them there lol, lol like they would see if they could barbecue thier legs or something.

    Thanks

  • brilliand investment .

  • i really want one of these, so so soo nice. thanks for sharing mate, now i envy you:)
