Queensland is the new capital of computer game manufacturing - one of a number of booming professions taking hold in Brisbane. In their office at Spring Hill staff at THQ Studio are busy making their latest game for Nickelodeon. Just by sheer weight of numbers Brisbane is the epicentre of development in Australia. Civil engineering is classed as 'red hot' for jobs as well as mining, accounting, education and health. Graduate engineers - particularly in the mining sector - Salaries in Queensland jumped 6% in the last year - well ahead of the national average.
