Braestrup, author of the best-selling book "Here if You Need Me," is a Unitarian Universalist minister and a chaplain for the Maine warden service. She received the Melcher Book Award from the Unitarian Universalist Association in a ceremony held April 16, 2008. Here, she discusses her ministry as a "warden of the woods."

  • i belive i might be a uu and i look up chuches in my area and i cant find one that isnt at least 4 hours away! bummer! so i was wonder is there any way i can watch services on the computer. i very intersted in uu becouse i have always found i have picked and choosed differnt things from diferent religens all my life, and this might be the relife i need, thank you very much!

  • Kate, Am currently reading your book and enjoying it---it has given me a desire to visit Maine. Why did you and your late husband become Unitarian Universalists? I wish that the book and/or your video had a bit more information about your spiritual oddysey or that of Drew.
