Braestrup, author of the best-selling book "Here if You Need Me," is a Unitarian Universalist minister and a chaplain for the Maine warden service. She received the Melcher Book Award from the Unitarian Universalist Association in a ceremony held April 16, 2008. Here, she discusses her ministry as a "warden of the woods."

I really like her style of speaking. She's so charismatic and active.

Kate, Am currently reading your book and enjoying it---it has given me a desire to visit Maine. Why did you and your late husband become Unitarian Universalists? I wish that the book and/or your video had a bit more information about your spiritual oddysey or that of Drew.
