Here is Coco doing her absolute upmost to chew on something. That something she wants to chew on is in an awkward place - can she get there?

Coco now has a new cage, with more bars but sadly has given up on climbing.

  • i would get a hampster but arent their lives really short?

  • @kse6063 I'm no hamster expert, but I believe their life span is about 2 years.

  • May I ask what cage you are using for your fluffy little Syrian Hamster? the make/model if possible? It looks like spacious enough and easier to clean too... and good ventilation... I have Habitrail Ovo Loft, and believe me, in that one, no good ventilation, and my hamster feels as if he overheats in it... Thanks for the help.

  • I'm afraid I wouldn't have a clue! The hamster (which, sadly, is no longer alive) wasn't mine. I was only the camera man!

  • I used to have 2 hampsters.. they did backflips and kicked the top of the cage all the time.. lol

  • Wooah. Abs.

  • That hamster is stronger than me -____-

  • @whenderson0 sometimes its 3 years mines over 3 now and shes doing just fine, There was a point when she nearly died no idea what was wrong with her she went really thin so I spoon fed her milk and she got back to her normal weight and was moving around again. :)

  • Are hamsters part monkey?

  • that hamster is lush but the cage and wheel is way to small you need a cage at least twice the size of your one and a wheel which is minimum 8 inches in diameter for Syrian hammys it's cruel really that's why he she is climbing all the time cause he's bored I bet he chews the cage a lot that's another sign of a small cage

  • too small cage, to small wheel

  • Hamster: watch and learn

  • I must say: That truly is a beautifull hamster! She looks so vital and active, cos she's so high on her little legs :)!

  • That's one awsome hamster.
