Damn, you're a good shot, even if someone was that far out and you didn't hit them, you'd for sure get them to put there head down. Nice shots.

@Jacko4591 The .223 has a major advantage that allows it to literally compete in the same league as the heavyweight .30 caliber rounds...velocity. The 3400-3800 fps performance of the .223 makes it's trajectory in the first 300 yards look like a laser. It drops little away from 300 yards but only very little. The company Burris makes a special .223 scope ranged for 600 yards. If you use the aiming stakes at the bottom of the crosshair, you can hit out to 800 yards or more.

THANKS,great effort,once again

@Rachen30 : yeah but he was using .223 rounds at 700 yrds youre talking .308 big difference

@Jacko4591 Oh boy, you should try out the AR-10 SuperSASS semiautomatic sniper platform then. 1.5" groups at 600 yards with standard .308 FMJ. When I get my TM-10 stripped lower, I will build a .308 SuperSASS out of it.

i bet the barrel got a bit warm which would have affected accuracy a bit...but im astounded at the accuracy out of a semi-auto weapon

@redsfan293 Just one of many.

@fffreddie Quit being so humble, if you shot 241/250 you were a pretty damn good shooter
-
try a mile shot i bet you can do it :)
UPDATE AUGUST 2011: I'm going to try this again at roughly the same distance but using two HD cameras; one from the shooting spot and a target cam. Also, I posted a video in July 2011 from this same location, shooting tracers at 800 yards with a carbine. That video is 1080p HD.

Maybe I'm blind, but where's the vapor trail?

@xxxcrosmanhunterxxx
Probably not visible due to the angle and quality of the camera I was using at that time.
