California Precinct Captains Greg and Heather have a special connection to Senator Obama. Greg grew up with him.

Back when Barack was known simply as "Barry," he and Greg went to school together in Hawaii. Greg had the bigger 'fro.

Now, Greg and his wife Heather are working in Orange County; creating change in The O.C. as California Precinct Captains.

I attended Punahou School, too, and was the only  African American student in the middle school at the time. I remember seeing him on the playground. My family moved to San Francisco when I was in 10th grade.

He has the unique world view and sensitivity to other cultures that a Punahou education can provide. I hope to organize other Punahou alumni in my area and invite them to my house party on January 20.
