  • @cmsalvagio Thanks for your comment, you made me laugh

  • @SwordofKnowledge

Lasers (for Surgery), Life Support Systems, Artificial Limbs, Cheaper and more Durable Car Brakes, Self-Inflating Life Raft, Hydraulic Rescue Cutters, Sattelite TV, and Voice Controlled Wheelchairs.

But, yeah, obviously NASA isn't worth its budget. It's not like they produce anything worthwile. Not to mention the fact that NASA's percentage of the budget is only about 1%. Either your or willingly ignorant, or you're a troll.

  • @SwordofKnowledge

Hand-Held Vacuum, Air-Cushioned Sneakers, Firefighter Breathing Apparatus, Safer Airport Runways, Flexible Teflon-Coated Fiberglass, Solar-Power Tech, Polyamides (Used to protect bronze statues from corrosion), Equipment to cut people out of car crashes, Plane Wing-Tips, Freeze-Dried Meals, Baby Food, Hang Gliders, Nitinol (Used for wires in braces) (Cont.)

  • @no1saphead You do realize that they can't just take off/land at the same spot every time, right? Or, more specifically, they would have tons of wait times in between if they did? This is because the earth rotates. Also, did you ever consider the possibility that, as times have changed, so too has the tech? Or do you really think that no engine/propulsion advances have been made in the last couple of decades?

Also, the computer you're using? NASA helped get the tech in there. For Example:

  • @SwordofKnowledge It is rather funny how I got criticized for this. If NASA wants to continue maybe they should consider how expensive some of their things are. A new launch pad is fine but it comes with a 4 million dollar per foot road. When I was a kid they shaved the Astronauts bald to save weight as cost saving measure. How much did it cost to transport Sally Ride's hair in orbit..

  • @no1saphead Good; now open Google Earth again, and start looking for military facilities. Check out the air force and navy bone yards. Aren't you shocked at he number of those?

  • We need more activists for science.

  • I would throw all my savings to just have a 1 hour conversation with the genius that it is Dr. Neil Tyson. I would take some good notes as well.

  • @no1saphead Yeah, man; Nasa never does anything worthwhile; it's all pointless bullshit, and how dare they have more than one launch pad! Just like all airports should have only 1 runway! Wasteful spending at its worst! [/sarcasmmode]

  • great, though this argument can probably be made with even more validity for feeding starving people around the word.
