Great work Mitch, I have seen photos of the Campbelltown garbage trucks before, bit I never new which council they were from until now. Looks like it would be a 2005-2006 ACCO. But this is certainly a nice truck and also the arm is quite smooth. The driver looked like he had to keep the arm and grabber around the bin when he placed it down do stop it from falling over before he fully retracted it.

aww fair enough :)

Mmm... couldn't say that I do, didn't exactly grow up down there to know. Though I saw a pic of a BFI SL in a book a while ago, it was an MJ, so that's what they may've used... ?

Yep :) do you know what trucks they used to have and use?
are you sure that they are 140L garbage bins because I think they are 80L garbage bins.

@hrrk619 These are 140L bins, just taller version to the newer designs. When you look at them they resemble 80L bins, but there is a significant difference in height.

I don't think that the tall 140L bins were a great design because they were the same height as the 240L bins, but a lot more narrow and therefore more easily blown over than the new 'fat' 140L bins. Also garbage might have been stuck in the bins when it was emptyed if it was too firmly packed, but they are entertaining to watch, but the new one's are a better design.
