North Korea is currently ruled by a totalitarian dictatorship which daily violates the human rights of millions of its citizens. It is the duty of freedom-loving people everywhere to do all they can to oppose Kim Jung Il's regime

  • @SPredarmysoldier

Cuba and Venezuela have almost nothing in common with North Korea. Tito was nothing like Kim Jong Il. If you think North Korea is "socialist" you're wrong. Its Fascist.

look, this is what you said before: "South Korea has food; North Korea has independence." you think the abstraction of "independence" is more important than food?? do you realize when you are starving, each of your organs starts decomposing, your immune system collapses, eventually you can't even move? and you are saying its ok that a country lost 10% of its population this way...because at least they have "independence"?

  • @RedOctober1922

yeah maybe Americans are brainwashed. They're just not starving or being tortured.

  • @SPredarmysoldier

You call yourself a Red Army soldier? the real Red Army were heroes for stopping Hitler. but if you support Kim Jong Il you have more in common with the scumbags of the Wehrmacht.

  • @SPredarmysoldier

    ITS THE NETHERLANDS

  • @SPredarmysoldier

People are not shot in the back for trying to leave Holland, mixed-race children are not being murdered in Holland, political prisoners are not being gassed to death in Holland,. thanks for your concern but Holland has been free for 60+ years, was liberated in 1945 from the Nazis. I hope one day Pyongyang will be as free as Amsterdam.

You're the one who is dismissing the opinion of North Koreans. you think you understand their country more than people who spent their whole lives there. in the Cold War several Americans defected to North Korea, one of them- Charles Robert Jenkins- later returned to the US, how did the US govt. react? Did they denounce him as "traitor" and kill him?? No, he got interviewed by CBS, got a book contract, got treated like a returning hero.

  • @RedOctober1922

Right. And if it weren't for the treaty of Versailles, Hitler would've never been able to capitalize on Germany's humiliation. According to that logic, the US, France and Britain- nations that won the first world war- are responsible for the Holocaust, because they created the conditions that allowed Hitler to come to power. If the US is responsible for Kim Jong Il's crimes, you should also be held responsible for WW2...not sure you want that on your record...

  • @RedOctober1922

I am well aware. for instance an economist named Oh Kil-nam defected to the north... and then returned to the ROK, he is now one of the most outspoken critics of the regime. of course a few people defect to North Korea as well- for philosophical reasons, not because they're starving or being tortured. my point is HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS of people risk their lives to leave the north.
