These atrocities were hidden from the American people by U.S. officials who knew citizens would be outraged and demand an end to the wars. Corporate pigs would lose billions in profits. Thirdly, before use, American representatives claimed use of these weapons for high priority targets in population centers to achieve objectives while in an action against insurgents. Many of the citizens also, could have gotten in the way at the wrong time. It is not new to anyone that terrorists use civilian populations to protect themselves, knowing that we are humanitarian as humanly possible. Unfortunately, in certain cases, when engaged, anyone is accountable for the attack.

Secondly, if you notice, most of the casualties were immediately terrorists and insurgents, as the reporter has said. Most of the "waste" as it is so called, if you must, could possibly be bribed citizens, who were tortured, to approach reporters and exclaim the atrocities of the weapons used. In all effects, during this time, people were still more afraid of terrorists than ensured by American protection.

Only the soldiers know the truth. Therefore, this is insignificant not because it contained insufficient footage. But also the fact that most of the interviews were made by foriegners who didn't speak English. War is war is war. People die. And even then, the terrorists don't play by the rules. Who are we to criticise soldiers, when men who aren't even documented as conventional soldiers do heinous acts against their own people. We need to know both sides, not the middle.
