The two lovely young women kicking off the video are dressed as Hatusne Miku from Vocaloid (in the blue) and Ichigo from Tokyo Mew Mew (in the pink).

The music's from Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicle. The track's "Strange Names" by Kajiura Yuki.

This video was less than a half of everything we did, and easily less than an 1/20th of everything there was to do there. I'm talking Japanese Tea Ceremonies, Koi fish for sale or feeding, Storytelling sessions, Origami for children, balloon-squids (which I sadly couldn't afford for my son), Taiko drummers, the Candyman's show (I caught his back on camera, and although his cart is at the end, that's not nearly as fun)... the list goes on and I ran out of breath.

It's labor day yearly. You might want to make plans for next year.

... I'm just sayin'.

(My shirt is Paaaaaaaaaaaank. XD)

  • @KaylaTheCosplayer I live in the desert part of California. I am the only anime fan here in the whole city. TT_TT

  • I live in MIssouri. It sucks here for me :c They don't do much anime stuff here. I miss California.

  • Looks like an exciting day - & Great video!

  • @Tarabara

Knowing your family, I think you should all go.

  • Definitely something you don't associate w/ MO but considering the Botanical Garden is known for being one of the best locations of Japanese gardens outside of Japan itself it's not too surprising.

  • I might have to send my brother out there next year. He'd get a big kick out of it, I think.

Hee! I know, Right? I mean... for most people labor day's about BBQ and cable. But the festival jam-packs full of people looking to have fun every year. If I had gone earlier and stayed later, I'd've had a lot more to show.

    Glad you liked it!
