@mikeystrafford Cliff's version was made in a studio. This was made in Elvis' house, when he was in the army. He was singing with his friends. You can not compare the 2 versions. Also Cliff Richard's version is a cover. The original was by Billy the Kid recorded & released Feb 1959. Cliff Richard's version was recorded April of 1959.

What's all this about ripping off someone's music?
This was just playing the piano and singing at home... it wasn't a recording session... he showed no signs of even wanting to record it. Just like one of us playing around with a musical instrument and singing in our own home. Not better or worse than anyone's "version"... it wasn't a "version"
