i think slayer became a bit borin since seasons but they've had great songs like dittohead for example, but they surely didn't sold out :D

That was basically what I was saying, really. Even though I'm not a huge fan of Divine Intervention and Diabolus In Musica, both albums has got some great tunes!

I'm not comparing them at all. I'm just saying that they will never reach their 80's prime again. And yeah, I don't really like Divine Intervention.

definitely, and so has megadeth. I for one look forward to both the new Slayer and new Megadeth record and expect them to be good. Kerry has talked about the record and is clear in saying they are not trying to reign in blood 2, and they would fail if they did. They are doing what they love, and he says that the album closest to the new one would be Seasons Of The Abyss. I hope he is right, I LOVE seasons and south of heaven... amazing albums

Well do we really want a Reign in Blood 2 or a Master of Puppets 2? Bands can't really stay exactly the same or they're gonna become boring to listen to. Slayer's changed every single album, and they're still able to maintain their aggression. Serious props to Slayer
