The Amiga is a family of personal computers that was sold by Commodore in the 1980s and 1990s. The first model was launched in 1985 as a high-end home computer and became popular for its graphical, audio and multi-tasking abilities.
Commodore company declared bankruptcy in April 1994. The company was bought by Escom which also went bankrupt. In 2005, the brand survived after mergers with Yeahronimo Media Ventures Inc., SATXS Communications BV and Tulip Computers.

I am SO glad that you posted this, and friggin sad that only 1000 people have viewed this.
I also would jump at a new Amiga that was as groundbreaking as the original but also compatible with the past, but I'm afraid that time and the industry have finally passed the Amiga by. :(
I wish there was a higher quality source-vid around, I'd like to show this off some. anyone know of one?

Thanks to all of you, Amiga was part of my life and i loved it more than nothing else before and after it. It made the difference and changed the history, at least my history.

@Borin81, same goes for SGI and DEC, albeit not in the consumer realm. But yes, I can relate to that and I miss those times as well.
