Renowned outsider sculptor John Abduljaami discusses the different woods he uses to create his vibrant visionary works.

John Abduljaam, renowned Oakland wood sculptor, works with found wood and sculpts with axe, chisel, and saw. He creates powerful and spirited works. The Oakland museum has two works in their permanent collection.
