There is no debate; anyone living in the real world understands evolution is real. In the past 5000 years (a blink of the eye on an evolutionary timescale), human selective breeding has turned wild mustard plant into broccoli, cabbage, brussel sprouts, etc., and turned wolves into everything from poodles and chihuahuas to golden retrievers. Microbial evolution (along with the unforgivable ways of factory-farmed meat), explains why we have e. coli and salmonella outbreaks every now and then.

Evolution is a fact, both micro and macro evolution. Everything science has discovered in the past 140 years has been proving it over and over again. Genetics as well... we... homo sapiens, are primal, that's a fact as well.

And it's really funny that those who don't like the truth believe in fairy tales like those of the bible like creation, talking snakes, virgin births. Myths that have been proved wrong. That's why scientific community is not debating evolution, or heliocentrism, or gravity.

What you just explained to everyone is Micro-Evolution. The other branch of Evolution is completely different. It is completely intellectually impossible to conceive that Macro-Evolution is legitimate.

Micro is true and is supported by many Religions including Christianity.

Macro is a Theory that is still being tested by scientists today.

The argument against religion is very well implemented by the very argumentative fellow but the argument itself is poorly constructed. Fossils are not lying around, also Biology isn't the sole dis-prover of intelligent design. (Intelligent design cannot be proven or disproven btw(s) ) Physics does a much better job. The man is very intelligent and very stubborn .

@MrChappie1971 Yes why are we the only ones to evolve this much? It took 2 million years to go from Australopithicus to Homo Erectus to Neanderthal and in that time they made very little advancement in tool use. Then 35000 years ago modern man suddenly appears out of nowhere and advances in 35000 short years from the stone age to landing on the moon! There are tons of early writings that speak of being given this knowledge from gods from the heavens.
