Sustainable development, craftsmanship and the use of alternative materials have gained attention amongst entrepreneurs and emerging designers in Belgium and The Netherlands, two countries at the forefront of fashion. The new luxury market demands for long lasting and sustainable products that can be created through reinventing traditional crafts, researching on alternative materials and innovating with the latest technologies.
High Fashion Low Countries is an initiative of the Dutch Embassy in Brussels.
