if you are refering to the spine on the back of the suits, those are part of the design. i don't even look for "flaws" in the suits anyway.
-
@Otakuzulla because you arent looking hard enough
-
I have never seen them, because THEY ARE NOT VISIBLE!
-
@Otakuzulla seen everything from the 1966 original to Ultra Galaxy. I too have the original on dvd and unless you've been watching it on a tiny TV there ARE visible fasteners and zippers.. Everytime Ultraman turns his back, you can see it.

Hey dumbass, have you even SEEN a classic Ultraman TV show? I have the original on dvd, and there were no visable fastiners. did you know that it was done by Eji Tsubarya himself? thought not.

Man... I used to have this on video, recorded from TV in Hong Kong. I used to watch this LOADS when I was a kid.
And now I just think it's funny it's the woman fighting the tentacle creature...

@Xamtaro The suits in Final Wars would actually be in the Kaiju world be considered luxurious because of lightness and coolness meaning the actors could breathe for once. Tsurabaya which now is foreign owned by paramount I believe is allowed not to use them.

@Wunderwaffen1946 true. For a big anniversary milestone project, the whole thing looked no better than a cheap made-for-tv movie
female and tentacles together????

@dchyang cos it looks exactly like a Giant guy in a rubber suit. The "special effects" were such low budget that you could see the fasteners on the back. Its as if they didn;t even TRY to make the suit convincing. I've seen COSPLAY that looks more convincing than some of the early Ultraman rubber suits.
