Challenge TV Continuity, Early 1998

Before I start, I would like to apologise for the VHS jumping constantly, never buy Sky E180 tapes and tape in LP, it was a disaster, I accidentally hit record somewhere, hence why you see about 2 seconds of Bravo.

Anyway this clip is from Family Late, it shows the end of a B Movie and then several Challenge TV promotions (look for All Clued Up!) and then into Winformation with Question Mark, Ted Rogers and Dusty Bin.

NOTE: I do not have any episodes of the gameshows promoted, so don't bother asking.

When did Family Late stop?

By about 2000 or so. When Challenge was on Digital it was only broadcasting from 6am-12am, where as on Analogue it was 5pm-6am oddly. They had a major revamp in 1999 with The Games Room replacing Prize Time, but by 2000 that had been axed and it got a new look, so I think it was then.

Oh yeah I remember The Games Room. It was a total rip off.

The Games Room was total rubbish, there wasn't much wrong with Prize Time, it was cheap and cheerful, but The Games Room felt more like the defunct ITV Play.

Well they did from October 1998, prior to that they were showing leftovers from The Family Channel, I think it was for contractual reasons the programmes had to be shown, fenceforth why Family Late was created on Challenge TV, between 12.30am and 5.00am.
