Album: Frances the Mute (2005)
Genre: Heavy Prog

Note:
I used the vinyl version of this track to make this clip.
That's because all the digital copies contain some very annoying pops and clicks in a few parts of the song which sound like damaged CD surface (this was probably a manufacturing error).
However, as Cassandra Gemini is split into two parts on the vinyl (about 15 minutes on each side of the record) I had to use the middle bit from CD to seamlessly join these two parts into one (yes, there are actually a few seconds of material missing on the vinyl as each side ends with some kind of loop).

Anyway, here you have the final product (Vinyl+CD patch as I call it) which should be perfect from start to end. Enjoy!

  • On the album tracks. Which song does it start from? And end?

  • @MrChiligod On the CD version, it is track 5. - 12.

  • Didn't know this song was 32 minutes long... If I join the 5 parts of the song on my CD, the song last about 15 minutes, so why is this version longer?

  • @FuckHarper666 From Wikipedia: "The finalized track listing had five tracks and was intended to be released as such on all formats; the vinyl version and online retailer copies can be found with this track listing. Because of disputes with Universal Records, "Cassandra Gemini" was arbitrarily split into eight tracks on the CD version, taking up tracks 5 through 12, since the band would otherwise only be paid an EP's wages for a 5 track album."

  • I remember seeing them do this live. My face melted.

  • There are a select few internet-connected jukeboxes in several lucky bars on which this entire song counts as just one play. It is a rare pleasure to rock out to Cassandra while watching any nearby bros cringe and suffer. Am I the only one who has experienced this satisfaction?
