Travis Ortmayer Training 2011

Some of Travis' training for the events on day one at the Arnold. Axle training- first lift (January 2011) 400lbs, 2nd 375lbs x2p&3c, 3rd 405x2press,4 cleans. Deadlifts- 765lb rack pull, 765x2 from the floor (first heavy deadlift workout since WSM), 855lbs x2 from 19inches, 625x8 off a 4" block, 1001 lbs. from 15inches & 950x3 from 18inches.

pity his ego gets in the way of become a champion. guy needs to find a level head but hes young, my fav at the minute hope he turns out to be a great. he unfortunate also theres great lifters like Big Shaw that has jus found great form and strength think hes gonn abe hard to beat ovr the next 5 yrs er so .

@CaleTesoro yea but none of the present lifters. in ireland we have a guy glen ross who is pretty fat but has won uks and euro comps many a time. hes stronger than terry hollands but wouldnt compare with Travis or brian shaw he'd be stronger but not as fit. are u a lifter urself ??

@taoboxer9 and what ?? did i say that travis was anything different ??? fs take his dick outta ur mouth and read what i worte, i said his mind gets in the way of his performance at comps because he wants to impress the crowd and wants to do well for himself, he hasnt got the mental ability to be champion, i only pray he proves me worng over the next few years as he is my FVAOURITE STRONGMAN AND HAS BEEN FROM HIS FIRST EVENT.
