@OnlyLifeMatters I think it's a good idea in many ways, why would we _not_ unite in more ways to better be able to protect and claim common history, culture etc?

Together we would be a very respected player on the global level. Also it would be good for common economic interest, a common currency also sounds like a not-to-bad idea!

Seing how different the European countries are makes me more confident a nordic 'union' or collaboration would be very good, nordic countries are very alike!

Well publicuser is right. Where do we need Sweden,Norway and Denmark? Russia is biggest trading partner in business for Finland and Finland has always trusted Germany and Germany has always helped us when we have ask for it.

Well Sweden ofcourse is kind of brother to Finland because we have been part of Sweden, but Denmark and Norway are just normal European countries to me which has kinda same looking flag as we have. We saw in WW2 that this alliance between nordic countries didnt work.

Have you heard of Gunnar Wetterberg and his AMAZING idea of a Nordic Federation? Finally someone from academic circles made a book about it. Among his calculation is the fact that United Nordic Federation would be 10th LARGEST ECONOMY IN THE WORLD! We would also control the Baltic Ocean.

We need a political movement around it, so that in each nordic country there would be a political party insisting on a "new kalmar union".

This is stupid. Finland will never surrender to Russia. And it does not have to be tested, because Russia is changing. Moscow is a city of most billionaires in the world. Russia goes with what they got and thrives.
