For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse. Romans1: 20

well i believe this is a great teaching.
As for mr or ms 86corvus stating "what was the cause that created God" (by the way with a capital G), that can be your qustion you can ask Him when you get to heaven, that is if you are a believer. some things are just going to stay a mystery to all. And one last thing I believe the enemy always wants us to question the existence of God.

what was the cause that created god?

@86Corvus God did not have a cause, because God is outside of this physical universe. On the other hand we live in a universe that requires cause, a universe CAUSED by God.
Even science points to a Cause of the universe, except they cannot identify this cause. They have theories guessing at what is "behind the curtain", but in the end they are guessing. They cannot have the God options because they are not ALLOWED to consider God as the cause.
