Peter Bernstein (b. 1967) is another young lion that is taking the jazz scene by storm. He began at the age of eight on the piano and switched to the guitar four years later. After hearing Wes Montgomery he became devoted to studying jazz. He has attended Rutgers College, William Paterson College and the New School in New York. Peter has worked with Lou Donaldson, Larry Goldings, Lee Konitz, Melvin Rhyne and Joshua Redman to name a few.

Today's lick employs a triplet-based line over a tritone substitute V chord in the key of F major. Make sure you follow the fingerings closely, otherwise you may not make a smooth transition up the neck.
