Paris, Milan, New York - and Wigan!

Is Wigan a hotspot of high trends of a fashion faux pas?
London and Paris are well known for their haute couture but following hot on their heels is Wigan, showing that us northerners are aiming high in the fashions stakes.
On a fine summer's day, Wigan town centre is full of trendy teens and sophisticated adults who know how to look good and give ht fashionistas of Paris and New York a good run for their money. And high on their shopping list around Wigan is H&M, Topshop and River Island.
But our fashion icons also like to branch out a little further into the bigger cities, with neighbouring Manchester and Liverpool the big favourites.
Young teenagers have keen eye on fashion and quite often look to their music for inspiration.
