Brandan: "You gave it to me in 2008 :) Years ago I was in love with it but could not find a copy so I asked you directly and you sent it to me via email under the title "Miss America". Now as the years went by, did you change the name of this song?"

LanaDelRey: "God. I forgot that. I don't know if i changed the name- i think i called it Trash Magic in my notebook, but also miss america. i was staying at the sunset motel in new jersey off and on every other couple of weeks. i decorated it with tinsel from the duane reade up the street and wrote this song.. it still makes me happy."

Ive been watching Lana Del Rey's videos for about an hour and reading the comments. I think her greatest achievement is to sound / look / act like everyone's personal favorite singer. Everyone hears and feels something totally different when they see her / hear her, and connect her with their own tastes. Then there is the "Im rebelling against the mainstream" factor without realizing that she is mainstream. Its interesting.
