Across God's noble earth, artists of the crèche, the nativity, with hearts and hands, have crafted their personal reflections of this most wonderful narrative—of the Christ child, of Mary and Joseph, of the lowly shepherds and the wise men—of the angels and the heavenly choirs.

Carefully collecting and preserving a thousand crèches that have touched her, BYU alumna Holly Zenger has tapped into something deeply and spiritually resonant to each of us.

And several of our BYU alumni have joined to give a small part of this to you.

A few of these much-loved crèches were photographed by Brad Slade. And then Kelly Nield blended them with the song, "Look on Me This Day," from the Church's "Savior of the World," composed by David Zabriskie and sung by the gifted Joy Gardner. The lyrics express Mary's adoration of God and humble joy after learning from the angel that she was chosen to be the mother of the Son of God.

We do hope that this Christmas season will find you filled with joy and peace—and the wonder of the Christ child.
