n this amazing exhibition, guests will get an up close and personal look at the artistry and craftsmanship that went into creating the iconic props and costumes that appeared throughout the Harry Potter films. These authentic artifacts will be displayed in elaborate settings inspired by locations from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry including the Gryffindor common room, Hagrids hut and the Great Hall.

(Toronto, Apr. 8, 2010) To celebrate the opening of Harry Potter: The Exhibition at its
exclusive Canadian venue, the Ontario Science Centre, Harry Potter film stars James
and Oliver Phelps, who play Fred and George Weasley in the film series, brought their
magical charm and humor to todays opening event. The exhibition offers fans a firsthand
look inside the famous wizards magical world, giving guests the opportunity to
experience the amazing craftsmanship of hundreds of authentic props and costumes
from the Harry Potter films. The exhibition will be on view until Sunday, August 22,
2010.

The Science Centre seeks out temporary exhibitions that will appeal to our traditional
audience and attract new visitors who may never have visited a science centre, said
Lesley Lewis, CEO, Ontario Science Centre. Harry Potter: The Exhibition holds just
such crossover appeal. Our visitors will be inspired by the creativity, technology and
attention to detail behind the artifacts and themed settings in this wonderful exhibition.
In a 1,300 square metre exhibit space, Harry Potter: The Exhibition features authentic
film artifacts displayed in immersive settings inspired by the film sets—including the
Great Hall, Hagrids Hut and the Gryffindor™ common room. Visitors will also be able to
try their hand at some of the activities experienced by students at Hogwarts™ such as
pulling a screaming mandrake from its pot or tossing a Quaffle through a Quidditch™
goalpost.

We are truly excited to unveil the exhibition and its incredible offerings to so many loyal

settings bring the films to life and the Ontario Science Centre is the perfect location for

i just went today. it was amazing!!! playing quiditch was soo fun. it was great. i got picked to be sorted into a house (RAVENCLAW!!!!) i had soo much fun. hagrid's clothes and chair are ginormous. and voldemorts stuff is soo cool!!!! i LOVED buckbeak and fawkes!!! they are amazing!!! and dobby is soo cute.  hurray for harry potter!!!!

P.S. the stuff you can buy is cool!!! i bought a real quil, alastar moody's eye, and a bookmark!!!! the shirts are lame :( Have a great day!!!
