This is a classic comedic movie. I've watched it multiple times over the years. I'm a black female and I think it is lovely -- pure genius -- especially the dance scenes. We know we are grounded when we can laugh at ourselves. Anyone familiar with Steve Martin knows he would not be in a movie that is intended to be insulting.
