  • Lowell,

Thanks for the comment. Several fire depts have purchased or are testing the units and are very pleased with there performance.( Huston Tx )

When your ready, send me your helmet make and model and we'll make a set for you.

    Thanks Dale Booher S.A.R. products

  • unfortunately, flashlights have been around for fire helmets for a long time. Also, modifying the chin strap on the helmet is against NFPA regulation. It needs to be a clamp of some sort.

bobbybushae: You're right drilling holes in the helmet or modifying the chin strap is not permitted. That is why my patent simply replaces the carbon steel screws with stainless steel studs that are anchored into the light at one end and simply passed through the existing holes in the helmet. There is no degradation to the helmet or the chin strap. In fact its stronger then the original.

  • also the lights are under the brim of the helmet amd out of danger of getting caught by wires or debris.I currently have a helmet cam mounted on top of the brim, makes a great combination with the lights under and the cam over,

  • @FireFightingGeese -These lights were designed to be worn under the brim of the helmet, out of the debris field. they will mount on all popular makes of helmets turtle shell type or traditional and with or without face shields. Lions,Morning Pride,Carins and Bullard. The light system was tested by Morning Pride lab at 500 degrees for 5 min. If you provide me with your helmet model and e-mail address, I can e-mail a picture.

Thanks for your intrest. Dale Booher

  • Hey I might be looking to order these looking for a good light for my helmet and this looks like the ideal thing will it work outside well as well and im not sure if it will fit our style helmt

  • I like that Idea. I was going to by a streamlite vantage, but this is really nice. I am an Explorer right now, but will be getting cert.'s next year. My helmet is going to be loaded with stuff like the helmet cam and these things. I also like the glo-jo helmet band.
