"In fulfilling its objects, the Charity adopts a multi-agency approach with local
organisations that come into contact with handicapped children and their
families, to identify needs which cannot otherwise be met from other agency
funding. One or two of the Trustees in consultation with agencies makes an
assessment of need, for consideration at a full meeting.
The Charity also benefits organisations that provide support for children with
disabilities through the provision of specialist equipment. Requests for support
are made to individual trustees who have over the years developed relationships
with these groups and a business case is considered at a full meeting. The
charity endeavours to achieve a balance between direct support to individuals
and support for carer organisations"
