Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer gave a keynote address at the AT&T Developer Summit that took place during the International Consumer Electronics Show 2012 in Las Vegas, where he spoke about the incredible opportunity that is ahead for developers with Windows Phone. He noted that "successful applications will make more money on Windows and Windows Phone, earning 80 percent of every dollar of revenue, after passing the first $25,000." Ballmer went on to say that, "At Microsoft we believe in creating developer opportunity, and with Windows Phone ... there's really no better time to be a developer on Microsoft platforms."
