Winnie at the Airport

In this video I give you a glimpse into air travel with Winnie. She's a pro at it now and such an angel on the plane. For those who are wondering, I do give her a vet-recommended dose of Benadryl right before we leave for the airport. It does not make her super drowsy, just helps calm her for the flight. Luckily, she absolutely LOVES her Sherpa Classic Carrier, which she's had since the day I brought her home from the breeder. It has always been a safe and inviting place for her, which makes being on an airplane an easier experience. I put a soft blanket in it as well as a few (non-squeaky) toys and she's ready to go.

@spoiledKA I really don't see how it could because the medium barely fits. I have to squish down the top a bit to squeeze it under the seat. Of course, each plane is slightly different...

@spoiledKA It's a medium. FYI - I honestly don't think the large would fit under most airplane seats because the medium barely does.

thanks for this Jen... We have never flown with Maximus before ..we either drive so he can come or hire a dogsitter to move into the house while we are away... Maximus loves his "cave" as well ... we have his out all the time and he will go get in it to do some serious napping or if there is a lot going on ..i think he feels safe in it...

I carry a mini recorder in my car and record where the car is for just that reason

@uglybobswife Normally I would remember where we parked, but Don flew in a week after me and was all on his own to remember the car's location. Men are so silly sometimes :p

This video is great, for the doggy footage on planes. Over here the in the Uk Im not sure they allow dogs in the seated area during internal flights, I know they dont on international.

I totally simpathise with finding a car. I lost mine in a four storey small carpark, but I never did it again. They definately need an app for the phones on where you park the car, maybe sending a text to each others phones would do the same.
