BTW that girl who got herself into all that debt deserves it. Noone made her do it. This is what I mean by when I say sending dumb people to college...
and this is coming form a guy who never went to college. Its called the internet you dumbasses, theres more information on there then what any bed wetting, long haired, hippie professor can teach you. I have got to be the only 24 year old in America with no debt and 10k in the bank
LOLOLOL @ My stupid generation ahhahahahah.

@mylifeafterbreakfast "amazing way to guarantee that every citizen can get an education".
Ya at the expense of someone else's hard earned money. And havn't we danced this tune before? All you do when you give everyone an education is just ended up educating dumb people at the expense of tax payers money. So now not only are they dumb, but now with a college degree ego.
Were not all equal. Some people are naturally dumb and its always going to be that way. Sry, it a failed experiment.

It should be possible to sue... but only for an amount equal to or less than 75% of college-related debts. Getting 7 million is just crippling the school and ignoring the fact that the student was an idiot and criminal.

I suddenly want to sue my school.

@mylifeafterbreakfast I leaned it from someone who has been filing it himself for a few years and was helping others to sort out problems with IRS. There is a law that is basically hidden in all the legal terminology and is very hard to understand, especially for us, normal people who have no idea about things like that. Besides, most people wouldn't even dream that government would pay their bills. I got the money back from last year already and waiting for this years return

@ArmadaVolya That's amazing! I had no idea!! How did you learn that and why doesn't everyone file like that?

There is a tax form you need to file, it's 1099 oid.
Very simple form where you have to list who you paid and for what. You will get the money back as a tax return, but it usually takes much longer then regular tax returns, especially the first time. First time can take 7-9 month, after the first year it gets much faster.
Here in Argentina the education system is a bit different. To hard to explain.

@mylifeafterbreakfast One one side, there are a bunch of Colleges that, evry month, you have to pay a certain amount of money to get educated.
On the other side, there is this collage in particular that you don't have to pay to get an education. THe goverment pays evrything.

@Caroline1204 Either way is so much better then what we have in the US. That's such an amazing way to guarantee that every citizen can get an education. America is doing a lot of things wrong. lol
