@KingHeathen that's true, i remember our youth group talking about and encouraging that. but this song totally blows it outta the water and makes it look dumb and super religious. i did like the song. however, the words ruin it. you can "frontal hug"(that sounds just as wrong as calling pro life people "ANTI-abortionists")a girl but just lean in, no big deal.

the christian side hug song was a joke made by that group to make fun of over conservative christians. get over it.

That may be their story now, but a little research into and you find a completely different story.
The "side hug" rule was REAL and part of a Christian youth convention. They brought in the group, along with others, to do songs about some of the rules of the convention.
Even if the group did it as a joke, the organization APPROVED their song.
And there's nothing to "get over." I was never "mad" about it...My video TOO was a joke because of how ridiculous the whole thing was.
