  • Wow awesome footage, How close were you to the TFR?

  • We were 60 miles south of launch pad, 20 miles from TFR. 13,500 feet above sea level.

  • @Xantec TFR stands for "temporary flight restriction." TFRs are in place around shuttle launches, or when the president flies into a city, that type of thing. Aircraft either have to be flying under a filed flight plan and air traffic control, or they have to stay out of the area of the TFR.
